General
My space isn’t built yet. Can it have a virtual tour?
Yes. Viniona builds spaces from plans, not photos. So a housing project still under construction or a store that hasn’t opened yet can be explored too.
Is a digital twin the same as a 3D model?
Every digital twin is a 3D model, but not every 3D model is a digital twin. In a digital twin, measurements, light and materials are true to the real space, and you can walk around inside it.
Do I need a physical store for a 3D virtual store?
No. If you have an architectural plan, we work from it; if not, you describe your store or leave the design to us.
Can buyers choose colours and materials?
Yes. We add systems that switch furniture, lighting, wall colour and flooring variations; prospective buyers try the options as they walk around.
How is product information shown to visitors?
With info cards that open when a product is clicked. We also place product variations and fun areas in the space.
When can the virtual exhibition be visited?
Your live space can be visited at any hour, from anywhere in the world.
Process
What do I need to get a virtual tour made?
A plan or just an idea is enough to start. For stores and showrooms we work from the architectural plan if there is one; otherwise you describe it or leave the design to us. For housing projects a floor plan is enough. Where products will appear, we take the 3D files of your products from you.
Which files do I need to prepare?
Your architectural plan (if any) and 3D files of your products (for example in .glb format). If you have no plan, your ideas are enough.
Do you need architectural project files for the tour?
No. To build the apartment with the right measurements, we only need the floor plan. No detailed information or architectural project files are needed.
We don’t have an interior design. Is that a problem?
No. We consult you on the interior; if you have no ideas in mind, we design the interior.
I don’t have a plan of the space. Is that a problem?
No. If you have a plan, we work from it; if not, we design the space or we work on it together.
Technical
Do visitors need to download an app?
No. The virtual tour opens in the web browser from a single link. No app, plug-in, download or sign-up is needed.
Which devices does a digital twin open on?
It opens in the web browser from a single link. It works the same way on desktop, phone and tablet; no app or install is needed.
How do customers buy in the virtual store?
Through the official Shopify integration. Shopping in your 3D store runs in exact sync with your Shopify store.

How is the price of a virtual tour set?
The price is set per project, based on the size of the space, your product range and the interactions you want. Answer the four questions in the Quote Wizard and we will prepare a quote just for you.
How long does it take to make a virtual tour?
It depends on the size of the space and the interactions you want. The timing becomes clear once we talk about your project.
